Chicago Center for Anxiety & Related Disorders does not participate in any insurance panels. The choice to not contract with them was made in order to allow for the best treatment that is not imposed by insurance companies. Treatment is dictated by what is best for the client. Because CBT is short-term, it may be more cost effective in the long run.

If you would like to submit your claims, call your insurance company to verify out-of-network coverage. Statements with all required information will be provided to you for reimbursement.

The Federal “No Surprises Act” provides protection against unexpected medical bills. If you seek care from me, I will provide you with a “Good Faith Estimate” of the expected cost of treatment. Read more about your rights and protections against surprise medical bills and your right to a Good Faith Estimate.

Cancellations

Your appointment is reserved especially for you. With the exception of an emergency, you will be charged the standard rate without 24-hour notice of cancellation. Arriving promptly to sessions is important to therapeutic progress. If you are late, session cannot be extended and you will be charged for the full session.

Coverage

While emergency or on-call services are not provided, in-between session coaching to bolster skills and techniques learned during treatment is a potential option. If clients require more intensive treatment than what can be offered, they will be referred to a higher, more appropriate level of care.
