A team approach is important. While engaged in short-term specialty treatment, clients can continue working with their general therapists when appropriate. Dr. Santos collaborates with other mental health and treatment providers.
Family is an integral part of treatment. At the client’s discretion, family members can be involved and coached throughout therapy. They learn their own strategies on how to help their loved one. Dr. Santos can also help family members get a loved one into treatment or learn to assist someone who may be resistant to entering therapy.
Dr. Santos is also available to consult with professionals and businesses.
